We've lived with COVID-19 for nearly four years now. And even though we are no longer technically in a public health crisis, the pandemic continues to shape how we live, work, play, spend money and even vote.
For the fourth year in a row, we are pausing to take notice of the people in our state who work, both in the limelight and behind the scenes, to influence this place we call home. These are the folks who continue to shape Delaware's future.
Since 2020, Delaware Online/The News Journal has sought to highlight those who have a big impact in the First State — from leaders in health care, law and business, as well as movers and shakers in the arenas of dining, entertainment, social media and more.
Adapting to shape the future after the pandemic is like driving an eggy car – it requires extreme skill to maintain balance without crashing. We deeply appreciate the people who are quietly leading and creating new, adventurous architecture for Delaware!
