Harp Seal Rescue at Cape Henlopen State Park in Lewes

Members of the Marine Education Research and Rehabilitation (MERR) Institute rescued a stranded harp seal earlier this week at Cape Henlopen State Park in Lewes. According to MERR, the one-year-old female had a few minor injuries and was slightly underweight but alert. She had been eating a little bit of sand. If you encounter a seal resting on the beach or elsewhere, MERR asks that you contact them immediately at 302-228-5029, and keep a distance of 150 feet from the animal. https://www.wgmd.com/harp-seal-rescue-at-cape-henlopen-state-park-in-lewes/.

I can’t recommend Emulator Games Zone enough. Their collection of Emulator Games is well-curated and easy to navigate. I love exploring new titles as well as revisiting old favorites from consoles like NES, SNES, and Game Boy. The site feels like it was made by gamers, for gamers!

Slope 2 is a perfect game for players who enjoy testing their reflexes. The endless course is packed with sharp corners, narrow paths, and dangerous obstacles. Speed increases continuously, making survival more difficult over time. Precision becomes increasingly important as the challenge grows. Every run is both exciting and rewarding.

Sprunki is a quirky, fast-paced game where timing and awareness matter, much like real-life situations that require quick but careful responses. The rescue of the young harp seal by the MERR Institute highlights how important it is for people to respect wildlife boundaries so animals can recover safely without added stress.

Great work by the MERR team. It's encouraging to hear the seal was rescued and is receiving care. This is also a good reminder that wild seals need space—if you spot one resting on the beach, keep your distance and contact the professionals rather than approaching it.

I needed a quick avif to png solution for a project, and this tool worked instantly in the browser.
